Andrius Kasparas is a strategic communications advisor, author, and Managing Partner at the public relations consultancy KOKO PR. With more than 25 years of experience in public relations, he has advised organisations across Europe on reputation, stakeholder relationships, and communication in complex environments.
He is the author of the book Transforming PR: Public Relations to People Relations (Routledge, 2024), which explores how the traditional concept of public relations is evolving in a world shaped by social media, permanent connectivity, and fragile trust. In the book, Andrius introduces the concept of the Picnic Society — a way of understanding modern communication as a shared social environment where individuals, organisations, and communities constantly interact and influence each other.
Over the course of his career, Andrius has created, led, and participated in more than a hundred communication projects in the business and NGO sectors. He has extensive experience advising organisations in the energy and infrastructure sectors, where communication often intersects with politics, public opinion, and community interests.
Alongside his consulting work, Andrius lectures on public relations and strategic communication and regularly speaks at conferences and professional events across Europe. He has participated in international communication award juries and has contributed to discussions on how the role of communication professionals is changing in a networked society.
His work focuses on a simple but increasingly important idea:
reputation is not built through messages, but through relationships between people.
Andrius lives and works in Lithuania.
